Another busy day here at Abbey Locks!

Our highly experienced locksmith Chevy visited a property in Enfield after a customer called saying they didn’t feel as though their nightlatch was working as it should. The customer had begun to feel especially uneasy after hearing about a recent spate of burglaries in the area. After carrying out an assessment, Chevy recommended replacing the existing unit with a British Standard nightlatch which auto-deadlocks; the auto deadlocking feature means that the lock can not be slipped by any would be thieves. He also explained that the British Standard nightlatch has a larger footprint with better fixing points which, again, makes it the more secure option when compared against a standard nightlatch.

One of the perks of being a locksmith is getting to meet our customers pets; Chevy was lucky enough to get to know the family dog during his visit and its safe to say they were great friends by the time he left!
