Today we attended a property in North London, N1 for client who had used various companies over the years to repair the lock on their gate. A previous company had fitted an electric release and Yale Night latch which wasn’t designed for this application and had failed. The other problem we found was the existing gate closer was slamming the gate closed and couldn’t be adjusted which resulted in more damage to the lock.

After a chat with our customer we recommended a new heavy duty, adjustable hydraulic closer arm and a Cisa electric gate lock. We were able to utilise the existing cable and re-route it to the new electric lock via trunking and link in to the existing access control system.

The end result was a more secure gate and a robust lock with a controlled closing action and another happy client!
