Our Lock fitting service

Abbey Locksmiths can supply and fit any make or brand of lock, we have extensive knowledge of all the latest security products and can advise on which lock will best suit your property. All external doors or final exit doors should have at least one insurance compliant lock fitted, which will be an insurance approved BS 3621  lock or equivalent  in most cases. This makes up about 70% of our lock fitting work now, since all insurance companies are insisting that compliant locks are installed.  We also fit internal door locks, if you live in a shared house or need to secure a room within an office, these locks can be digital or key operated and may not always need to be insurance approved. A complete installation of a new lock from scratch by one of our locksmiths can often be finished within the hour.
