Another day, another job! Today our Locksmith Jamie visited a customer in the London Colney area; the customer had been having difficulty double locking their door and decided to enlist the help of Abbey Locks to resolve the issue.
It is standard practice for our Locksmiths to service and repair the existing setup wherever possible; however, after assessing the Multi Point Lock, Jamie found that it was beyond repair and would need to be replaced. Although the job was slightly bigger than initially anticipated, the customer can rest assured as all of our parts and labour are covered by a full 12-month guarantee.
It is always good to get your locks looked at before they fail; if you’re having difficulty lifting the handle to lock upvc/composite doors or the key is hard to turn, they may need adjusting. This is what can cause gearbox failure.
