We were called by one of our clients to a car compound in Edmonton, following a break-in overnight. The sliding bolt on the main entrance gates to compound had been cut through with a grinder leaving the premises unsecure.
We were able to make a repair to the gate bolt at the premises in North West London. After talking with the client we advised them that this could happen again and suggested welding a baffle plate to the exterior of the gate to cover the area where the bolt and padlock were and help protect them from any future attack. We also added coach bolts to the baffle plate for extra strength. After the repair and fitting we gave the new plate and any bare metal a few coats of zinc spray.
This was an emergency job and due to the nature of the business it needed to be fixed urgently, we were able to complete the whole job from start to finish the following day. Our client was very happy with end result and the advice that was given.
